Any ideas of what to put under rocking chairs to protect hardwood flooring?
We have hardwood flooring and were wondering if any body had any ideas of what we can put under rocking chairs to protect the floors from being scratched.

Throw rugs
put nothing on the floor.... line or wrap the rockers with denim.
a thick piece of carpeting. You can sew a strip of material along the edging.
We protect the flooring in heavy traffic areas, even under rockers where we eat snacks a lot, with Abzorb Mats (we use these in dog areas, under appliances, grill, etc. too):
